9 Aston Place (9/2006). This house is remembered as the home of Civil War veteran Scott Carter and his wife Belle Ragsdale. (See a 1906 photograph of their home.) His brother Capt. Ross Carter lived within sight, just a short distance away at 209 Whittle Street.
