to
Christmas in Historic Chatham

Edited by Mary Lee Black.

The culminating event of Christmas in Historic Chatham will be a joint musical presented by choir members from three area churches: Chatham Baptist, Chatham Presbyterian, and Watson Memorial United Methodist. The choirs will be under the direction of Heather Robertson, Music Director of Watson Memorial, and the Rev. Kim Chafee, Music and Worship Pastor of Chatham Baptist Church. In addition, a string ensemble from the Renaissance Music Academy of Virginia Tech will accompany the joint chorus, led by RMA co-founder and concert violinist, David Ehrlich. A small wind ensemble will also provide musical accompaniment.

The musical, An Early American Service of Lessons and Carols, written by Tim Sharp, with orchestrations by Keith Christopher, will be presented at 3PM on Saturday, December the 2nd, at Watson Memorial United Methodist Church, 136 North Main Street in Chatham. Be sure to come early for a good seat. The performance is free of charge and open to the public.
